For this demo, I am going to display a button in the Ribbon, so we are going to need two images for that, one for 16×16 pixels and another for 32×32 pixels. We add them as Web Resources.

Using the magical Ribbon Workbench
So our solution is ready with the components to be modified. Let’s go ahead and do it by using the Ribbon Workbench.
Once we select our solution from the Ribbon Workbench, we are all set for modification.

Adding a Button to the Ribbon
First we are going to add a button, so we click on ‘Buttons’ and drag it to our desired position in the Ribbon. (It is recommended that you have a bit of knowledge about the Ribbon Workbench, makes it easier to follow). Once done, let’s select the images that we added as Web Resources as icons for our button.
